The tracking for my package hasn't been updated

Please know that our warehouse sent your order to the United States Post Office on the day that the tracking number was created (or if it was created very late in the day after the mail was picked up - it was sent the following day at the latest). Therefore, if your order has a tracking number attached to it, this means it has shipped.

Due to USPS inaccuracy of scanning packages, their online tracking has not been updated and may still show that your package is awaiting pick up at our facility.  Please be assured your package was shipped from our warehouse.

Typically, as an item moves through the postal system, every time it arrives at a new post office or distribution center, the barcode on the package is scanned by the post office and the tracking system is updated.  But, as THIS ARTICLE FROM US GLOBAL MAIL points out,

"Sometimes they miss something, they assume that a package has been scanned when it hasn’t, or they just don’t notice that it still needs to be processed."

Your order is moving through the postal system as it normally would, but because the initial scan was missed, it appears as though it has not been picked up yet. Typically items are scanned at the next facility, so you can expect an update shortly. Once USPS scans the package at their next facility the tracking will be updated.  If your order was shipped via Media Mail, this may take up to 14 business days to receive.  If you do not receive your package by this day, please let us know.
