Is the Ascension App the same as Hallow?

Although Hallow does carry our podcasts (and we don't intend to remove our podcast from the app), they are a separate app and not owned or hosted by Ascension.

Hallow has built itself to be an incredibly helpful prayer app, but it is not a Bible app. Our app will be more of a Bible app (not a prayer app) so we see these two as complementary to each other, offering a different focus for each. 

Our new Ascension App will be free to download, and at its launch, will focus on Bible in a Year and Catechism in a Year. However, it will also include the text of the Great Adventure Catholic Bible as well as the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Ascension edition, an interactive copy of the reading plan, daily readings, and allow you to quickly pull up the podcast readings directly from the app.

There will also be other paid features available through an optional subscription.
