To listen to your audiobook, you first need to
unzip the file on your device and then play the audio files using a media player or book app.
Here are the simple, step-by-step instructions for each of your devices.
💻 Mac / MacBook
- Unzip: Double-click the downloaded
.zipfile. A new folder with your chapters will appear. - Open: Open the built-in Books app (or Apple Books).
- Import: Drag and drop the unzipped folder of chapters directly into the Books app window.
- Listen: Click on Audiobooks in the left sidebar, click your book, and play.
🪟 Windows Computer
- Unzip: Right-click the
.zipfile and select Extract All, then click Extract. - Open: Open your preferred media player, such as Windows Media Player or VLC Media Player.
- Import: Drag your unzipped chapter files into the player.
- Listen: Arrange the files by name to ensure chapters play in the correct chronological order.
📱 iPad / iPhone
- Unzip: Open the built-in Files app and find your download. Tap the
.zipfile once to automatically extract it into a folder. - Move to Books: Open the new folder, tap the three dots in the top right, choose Select, and select all chapter files.
